OLYMPIC STYLE WEIGHTLIFTING

This class focuses on proper technique in all lifts, including Olympic-Style Lifts. Classes include drills while building strength and power. Each session will focus on the needs and levels of each person to ensure his or her proper progression and safety.

Level II – Positional Strength
A disciplined focus to help members build their positional strength and loading through the squat, press, and deadlift movements. Movements practiced under this focus are as follows:

  • Front Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Strict Press
  • Push Press
  • Push Jerk
  • Deadlift

Level II – Olympic-Style Lifts
A strong focus on proper position, speed, and progression loading for the two commonly use Olympic-Style Lifts:

  • The Snatch
  • The Clean & Jerk

Our Olympic-Style Weightlifting classes are capped at 10 athletes per class and will be individualized to each member’s needs.
