Our members did a lot last weekend, testing their fitness, and putting it to use in many ways. Not to be out done, Ky Krekel and Alex Su proudly represented CrossFit Fenway at the Warrior Dash. Along with 500 other competitors, Alex and Ky took off at high noon, in gorgeous weather to scale walls, crawl through mud, leap fire, and of course run to the finish, enjoying every second. The pair credits their strong finish to their CrossFit experience, especially when it came to rope climbs. Congrats Ky and Alex! Way to represent!

Fenway Park Spartan Sprint on November 17th, 2012 the creators of the Spartan Race series are turning Fenway Park into a 1 mile Spartan Sprint obstacle course. It’s in our backyard, and rumor has it another local box is putting a team together, so let’s represent! Kevin Kittredge has agreed to lead the CrossFit Fenway team, so please contact him in the next week if you’re interested. More race details are available here.

WOD: 12:12 RX – decent time considering I did a pre-wod wod.
HSPU: 1 abmat and a 5 kilo plate, till my head wasn’t touching, then 2 mats.
WOD: 17:39, 16 kilo kettle bell and singles.
HSPU: 2 abmats (for the most part), from 3 all the way down to 0 reps in varying rounds
WOD: 14:48 (I think) 28 kg KB and SUs. This one was rough.
HSPU: Got through 10 rounds doing 3. 11 and 12 with 2. Then 13-15 of just 1.
WOD: 14:48 @ 24kg and singles.
