The Goals Board

September 13, 2010
By

Last week we switched over the “Why Are You Here?” board to the “Goals” board.  The reasons you’re all here were inspiring, at times humorous, and some of them had been up so long the ink didn’t want to come off the wall.  The goals board will work pretty much the same way.  Grab a marker, get your goal on the board, along with the date you want to achieve it, and your name.  Every time you’re at CrossFit Fenway do something to work on your goal.  Don’t know what to do?  Ask a CrossFit Fenway coach.  Whether it’s making a strength even stronger, fixing a weakness, learning a new skill, or achieving a first, put it on the board.

I think everyone’s as tired as my elbows were when attempting to send them around the bar this morning.

    35 kg clean.
8:48, with 24 kg and a bajillion singles instead of double unders.

i’m psyched, tonight is going to be my first go at double unders. after recently discovering that i can do a few, i’m looking forward to the challenge of doing 50 of them at the end…not so much for the whip marks the rope is going to leave!

    • Cal on September 15, 2010 at 10:41 am

22kg on the cleans. still working on figuring out the form, i use my arms way too much.

      WOD:
10:29 with 19kg for thrusters and i did double unders for the first time! couldn’t string more than 5 together at the end, but i’m pumped i did it! also big thanks to aaron for standing over me and pushing me through my last few thursters

    31 years 5’10″ 180

185lbs clean… same PR as Last time :(

WOD: double unders kicked my butt…. That is to say they turned into a lot of singles….. Need to work on them DU’s

Then figured lets have a little fun. 20″ standing box jump up to max weight…. Got up to 130lb – 2x 65 Dumbells

70kg Clean. Same as last time. Working on form before I go heavier.
WOD: 10:59 with 50kg – This was the 1st time double unders actually got hard for me physically. The last 15 of them I just didn’t have the strength to whip that rope around fast enough. My triceps were on fire.

  7. Yosh on September 14, 2010 at 7:31 pm
